First recording for the newly created VERVE label. Unreleased performance from Zardi's Jazzland, February 2, 1956 recorded after 2 1/2 weeks of live performances, when she would be introduced on stage by Norman Granz (Founder of VERVE). A week later she would record the "Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Song Book", which would be released as her VERVE debut. This recording would be unreleased for 60 years
